3 parts of the Pumpkin and the benefits of each one: Fruit, Seeds, and Oil

As we approach Autumn pumpkins are starting to come to and are almost ready for harvest. This in my opinion is the only thing I am looking forward towards as the summer comes to a close. Pumpkins are one of the most versatile fruits (Squashes) in which all of its parts are not only edible, but are also delicious and beneficial for your health.

The flesh of the pumpkin can be used for pies, cakes, appetizers, entrees, soups, and stews. Among various other things you can think off if you are highly creative. You can even make a raw soup out of pumpkins if you blend it thoroughly in a high powered blender.

The seeds are great whether you decide to roast them or eat them raw. Either way you can do so much when it comes to pumpkin seeds. And the nutritional value that you can obtain from them is immense. Packed with proteins and minerals pumpkin seeds can fill you up quickly.

The oil which comes from pumpkin seeds are really delicious and can add a unique flavor to any dish.

All three of these components of the pumpkin each have their own unique flavor and health benefits that you will thoroughly enjoy while during the pumpkin harvest season and afterwards.
